Carbon Fiber Plates

Has anyone every used any type of carbon fiber plates? I am looking into the Bont Zeus Carbon Fiber plates. I know that STD also makes carbon fibers but they are expensive. I am wanting to put them on a Bont Super B boot and I'm going for lightness. This is for general skate and adult skating sessions. No racing.

What were your experiences with carbon fibers and how well do they hold up?
