Sure-Grip Stylist needs new wheels, bearings and cushions. Sizes?
I found a pair of Sure-Grip Stylists skates at the flea market, took them for a spin today and one of the wheels split in half. I will have to replace the wheels, bearings and cushions. Any ideas size for the cushions and bearings? Currently they have ball bearing wheels. Can I just remove the cone nuts and screw on some sealed bearings? Thanks!

Can't put sealed bearings on loose ball axles w/o the sleeve to let you run 8mm bearings. The loose ball axle is just a tad too big to fit the 627 (7mm) bearing bore, which leaves it just a bit too small for 608 (8mm) bearings.
That said, there are bearings that fit loose ball axles, but I have no idea where to source new ones. I have a couple of old sets.
Standard Sure Grip Super Cushions should fit the Stylist just fine.
Wheels are your call!
You can get suregrip looseball axles and cones at sk8ratz.com
You might get all looseball parts from conniesskateplace.com, you might have to call or email to do this type of order these may not be on the site.
