Grease is less dangerous on a skate floor. Noone wants to loose traction due to oil on the floor.

I buy used inlines cheap at resale shops. Most of the skates there I look at are low use but not the cheaper made skates. Buy the skates cheap, pull the bearings and chunk the rest. I like skating, not cleaning bearings.

Ionic fizz magnesium helps keep the muscle pain away too.

Go to academy find some skates, put them on. The ones that fit, get the euro size number. It's more accurate because some skates use same shell and different liners. Also some skates are fitted tighter. My fr1s fir snug and are not excessively longer…

I'm retired nearly 2 years. Loving it and skating 2 times a week. It is zone time for me too
-
Rollerblade usually hut me in the ankles/ankle bone on the inside. Have had 2 pairs and they both did it. I'd recommend f110x flying eagles or FR1 skates in 4x90 or 3x110. Neither of the have ever given me pain. You may go through several pairs of s…

Wrist guards should not be optional. I've seen a lot of broken wrists from skating. Goid luck with you business

I have a pretty good recipe for getting rid of PF. The drs way took 18 months, my way 6 to 8 weeks.

Bearings are the last thing that you can gain from. Bearings are the most precise part on any skate, the least to make gains from. Wheels are number1, skate setup is a mix of things and takes time to sort out. 1 frame/wheel base/size of wheels/adju…

Cut carbs, fastest way to lose weight. But as you get stronger and push harder as a skater you build muscle mass. Muscle weighs more than fat. So you lose something gain another, the better of the 2. I cut carbs a while back, dr advise meds. I said …

Don't go too cheap. It is a long process learning to skate properly. Youtube has good videos on how to learn. Start with 80mm wheels. At leadt buy rollerblade brand. It's decent starter skate. If you quit, you don't lose much money. Expect to pay ov…

I may have some

Ask doc skate.

Get harry stud kit for them. Reversed kp is easier to tune.

Never had a nyloc come off. Did find them loose from time to time but replaced them before skating. Love my flips
-
Over time nylocs can lose their grip on threads. If you don't change wheels much you won't notice them loosening up. So they need to be checked every few skate sesdions.

Bearing spacers will stiffen an axle due to tension. As for gains in speed, won't make any difference unless you bias the test somehow. Flip axles have been used for years, no need for spacers on them unless your wheels are urethane without hubs( th…
-
We self regulate our speed. If traffic is light, we fly. Starts to get crowded, we slow down. If you have to touch other skaters to get around the floor at your speed, you are going too fast. A person still has to respect the rinks rules though.

I don't over tighten axle nuts, i use flips.... lol spacer that...

I skated a lot at Champions in Spring Texas. Great floor! The crowd varies a lot there. Experienced vs beginners everyday. You are going to crash into people. Kids and people that are new do not know of or have any knowledge of the flow of a rink. …

Bearing rollout and performance huh? Lol Specs on bearings are redily stated if you look up the data. To perfectly fit spacers you have to overcome the looser specs of bearing bores in wheels. Thats already been stated. If you believe in spending a …

DVW is correct, centerline is way off.

I can run 80mm on my custom plates..

There are only so many(very few) truck choices. SG at one time had I think 3 styles for 1 30 degree plate type. Aftermarket may have more but it is limited. If you need space a spacer between the boot and plate may be needed. I know some taller stuf…
-
If you had enough experience with theory, then testing and measuring you would know that no wheels have perfect, exactly same dimensions. So spacers vary als in dimension. Bearings are the most pecise part of any skate. The looser the bearing, the e…

Still haven't proved what the spacer did to improve performance... The snowman is correct....

Some adjustable pivots are better than others. Depends on what type of skating. Bowl and outdoor skating is hard on skates anyway. I have never broken a pivot on SG DA45s.
-
Nope, no stops. They are made to accept SG D/A 45 trucks. But fit very snug but are comfortable. No loss of energy due to boot slop. These plates are made for 195mm mounting centers. Easy to adjust side to side on the plate/frame to get you centered…
