Roller Sports Federation is now "World Skate"

The organization formerly known as the International Roller Sports Federation and also as FIRS changed its name to "World Skate" in September of 2017 when it merged with the International Skateboarding Federation. The merged organization is recognized by the International Olympic Committee as the organizational body for many different roller sports including inline speed skating, inline hockey, rink hockey, skateboarding, artistic roller skating, inline figure skating, aggressive skating, roller derby, downhill skating, roller freestyle, inline freestyle, and freestyle scootering.

World Skate has presented an every-two-years international competition since 2017 known as the World Roller Games. The inaugural event was held in 2017 in Nanjing, China, the 2nd edition was held in 2019 in Barcelona, Spain, and the 3rd edtion is scheduled to be held in October and November of 2021 in several Argentina cities.
