Skate Pro Shop
I found something interesting when I was searching for skate shop parts and support, there are hundreds of miles between us and any shops that cater to roller skating. Living in a major metro area, I was surprised. I spoke to the local rinks and there just isn't anything available here. To me this speaks to an opportunity to partner with the rinks and offer to fill that gap.
Has anyone done something similar?
I am very mechanical and do fairly extensive automotive work and think the skate shop work should be fairly easy to pick up.
Any advice?
It will be a side thing, not full time for the time being...

I did it for a while back in the late 90s. Unfortunately the overhead meant I did not make any money. I went out on my own. Still don't make a lot of money but that is my choice, not a rink owners.
