What are these worth?

I’m not exactly sure what “type” of skate this is… It has a Jackson boot with Douglas Snyder plates. I feel like if I knew what line it was I could look it up to see if the price of $150 is worthwhile or not. You know, compare apples with apples…

This is the description:

Artistic freestyle skates. Size 5.5/6. Well used but still a lot of life in them. Jackson leather boot. Almost new T stop. Great for tricks and coasting around!

If you can look at the pics and figure out what I am looking at or give me your advice on the cost I would greatly appreciate it.

  • For artistic freestyle skating. $150 is a fine price, skates are obsolete.

Snyder Super Deluxe plates are only obsolete for top lever artistic sk8ing. Kinda heavy but fine for having fun. The asking price is way below wholesale for a new pair of those plates.

Wow, I just looked close @ the pictures. Those the the "lite" plates. Note the blue color on the king pins and the notches in the hangers. I'm noit 100% sure but it looks like they have the correct titanium axles as well... That was a top line sk8 in it's day.

  • Omg again I answer on this thread due to searching by recent discussions, sorry about that.

Yeah I'm an art skater and we only give Snyders to true beginners in our club, they're so heavy compared to what we normally use nowadays. I missed them being the ''lite'' plates though, could definitely up the value to some people and is pretty cool.

Still, we would never put anyone above a ''C'' level on them for freestyle, maybe up to ''B'' level in dance if they can't afford Roll-Lines or any of our used Atlas plates.

I would personally recommend selling them to someone who isn't an art skater but enjoys high tops, or separating the plates and selling them to someone looking for the TI version.
