Do you use second pair of skates for city cruises?
For my typical speed inline skating training I use my Simmons custom + EO 2x125 1x110 setup and exchange the frame with Maple 3x125 or Powerslide 4x105 depending on the conditions.
In the past I was using Powerslide R4 3x125 for most of the races and the same boot with 4x100 frame for city cruises. Worked pretty well at that time. I still have R4 boot but I don’t like that much anymore and I’m thinking about getting new high cuff boot for skating in the city or taking with me when I go for business trip of unknown location.
What do you use for city cruises ? Any thoughts ?
