“I have a pair of Giottos that i have done the flip mod on, (i don't like/use toe stops) and they're mainly for outdoor use but i have used them indoors with no issues.” what is the flip mod? I run my Giottos both indoor and outdoor. I like them so …

IMO, it's a waste of time. You would probably need to create a spacer for EACH WHEEL that you use and that spacer would be mated to a specific wheel. There probably isn't enough of a difference in performance to require spacers. This is opinion and …

The solid hub was made by TLTF, who also make The Strain and Honey Badger wheels (https://tltfwheels.com/collections/indoor-wheels/Outdoor). MPC acquired the rights to make the newer version of the Rollerblade Hydrogen wheels earlier this year (mayb…

Check with Jimmy Blair at Pinnacle Skates. He has build custom boots for Trinity frames and might have what you need.

Some compounds just roll better, regardless of either durometer or CoF.

It's very hard to see the cant, since it's slight.

I have two different custom speed skating boots, one pair are Simmons and the other are Pinnacle. I like the Pinnacle for indoor short track skating, because they're not padded as much on the inside and I like that feel better than the padded Simmon…

I found part of my answer for #3, the Elite comes as a DA plate, but still looking for kingpin and cushion options, if available.

I do a few other sports, but they all support my skating. I cycle(indoor and outdoor), strength train, and do off-skate exercises/plyometrics. I used to race motorcycles a few years back, but a terrifying high-side crash ended my "career".…

Yes, always. In my quads, I wear two pairs of very thin cool-max or wicking socks. This eliminates hot spots, because the socks rub each other, instead of your skin. For my inline speed skates, I wear a single cool-max or wicking sock and an ultra-t…

I have feel as my test case. This is why I no longer buy Bones Swiss bearings for my inline speed skates. I have found that cheaper double-shielded NMB bearings roll just as well under load at 1/4 the price.

In MA: The Roller Palace in Beverly is no longer open. Silver City Sports Complex in Taunton is now Forrest's Family Fun Center.

Thank you for setting this up, Jessica. You may not recognize the username, because I've decided to use the username that I have used across several other forums when I used to race motorcycles. Old time SkateLoggers will know me as chuckboucher. 😁
